Electrotechnical Trainer, Assessor and Internal Quality Assurance, NICEIC

After a 24 year Military career as a level 6 qualified electrical engineer and designer, completing electrical installation projects from development through to fruition  in various locations throughout the world including Overhead power lines in Canada, re-building Zetra Stadium in Sarajevo (Torvil & Deans Olympic Games Gold venue), to constructing a hospital and airfield at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan. Mark turned his focus to the Education sector, and has since lectured in multiple Electrotechnical subjects over many years - most recently in domestic E.V. infrastructure, Solar PV and Energy Storage.  Since joining the NICEIC Mark has played a critical role developing and delivering its training portfolio, and maintaining the organisations quality assurance programme to ensure awarding authorities’ requirements are fully satisfied.
His experience has included renewable technologies and generation in locations without any infrastructure.  He has represented NICEIC in promoting its work at conferences, develop its training portfolio, and he continues to author and deliver its technical training content.
Mark has keen interest in improving individual’s personal capabilities and academic prowess using effective and current learning technologies.
